Love of Outdoor Life. The
region’s famed outdoor life was a major factor in Darren’s decision to
live here. An accomplished fly fisherman, Darren has spent time as a
fly fishing guide in Alaska as well as in Western Wyoming and Idaho.
He has fished great rivers and streams in many parts of the world,
including Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, California, and most of the
Northern Rockies. A fanatic skier, on many a winter morning he can be
found on Jackson’s challenging ski slopes. In the summer, he satisfies
his passion for golf on Jackson Hole’s world class courses. Darren
also enjoys playing ice hockey in the local men’s league. A special
interest in fish habitat protection and restoration has led to
involvement with groups concerned with the condition of rivers and
streams in the Northern Rockies.
